Friday Night Lights

School is back and that means so is football! The Lancers played away at North Penn at 7.The boys are back with Coach Van Fleet with the hopes of having a great season. They traveled the distance tonight to play the panthers.

Just say "yerd"

Yearbook nerds on the APALACO staff found a sweet way to welcome students back to school on Thursday, August 29th. The APALACO yearbook promoted a Sky High Frozen Yogurt fundraiser on the first school day for grades nine through twelve.

When patronizing Sky High Frozen Yogurt, Loyalsock Township customers just say the password, "yerd" (Yearbook Nerd) and each will receive a free waffle spoon with the purchase of any size yogurt. The fundraiser benefits the production costs of the 2014 high school yearbook. Adviser, Brooke Beiter said, "Students will be ready for a snack after a long day of classes. We are hoping they make their after-school stop at Sky High."

The fundraiser runs all day on Thursday, August 29th. Sky High Frozen Yogurt is located in the K-Mart Shopping Plaza on East Third Street.

Compliments of Sky High Frozen Yogurt, the APALACO
Yearbook Staff promotes back-to-school fundraiser.
