Tragedy struck in America twelve years ago today, where thousands of people lost their lives. It was a time of despair as many mourned over lost loved ones.
We began our day like any other with the morning announcements. Following which, we devote a moment of silence to those who lost their lives the eleventh of September in 2001. Every year we perform this small token of remembrance and affection for the victims of 9/11, every student and staff member included. Not only does Loyalsock Township School District participate, but countless schools across the nation.
September 11, 2001, will be a day in history that will never be forgotten.
